What did Karl Rove Really Say?

If ever there was a political football then this is it. In fact this has been going on even longer than the Watergate saga.

Bush's boy genius Karl Rove is in the thick of it as White House staffers are being interviewed by the FBI investigating who leaked the identity of an CIA operative to the media, and Scott McClellan is briefed by the press.

A number of news organizations have accused Karl Rove who is President Bush's senior political adviser. The TIME'S editors decided not to reveal the source (at this time). And Judith Miller, the New York Times reporter is sent to jail for contempt of court protecting the confidentiality of her sources.

So what is Karl Rove's take on all this?

"Conservatives saw the savagery of 9/11 in the attacks and prepared for war; liberals saw the savagery of the 9/11 attacks and wanted to prepare indictments and offer therapy and understanding for our attackers."
